Patio & Grading with Root Removal

A homeowner reached out to us with a tricky backyard—they wanted to add a patio and walkway, but the space was sloped and backed right up to their deck. On top of that, the area had once been wooded, so we expected to hit a lot of buried stumps and roots.

We ended up removing around 30 tons of dirt to reshape the slope and make room for the patio and walkway. Once the area was cleared and graded, we installed a new paver patio with a seating wall that fit perfectly into the space as well as a drain to ensure the patio stays dry.

The customer was so happy with how it turned out, they brought us back to extend the walkway from the backyard all the way to the driveway.
